My name is Florent Piovesan, I am a French Australian filmmaker and photographer, with a passion for the outdoors and I am currently based in the French Alps.

I love to document interesting characters and places, and to tell stories through film and stills and have been doing so for more than 8 years now.

I specialise in documentary, outdoor, and short commercial work and my projects have taken me around the world from Antarctica to New Zealand.

My work has been featured in National Geographic Traveler, Outside Magazine, Red Bull AU and my documentaries earned me a Vimeo Staff Pick and a selection in the Sydney Film Festival.

I consider myself first and foremost a filmmaker, who happens to have an online presence.

Over the past 4 years YouTube has been a new way of showcasing my work and making connections. The channel has now more than 35,000 subscribers.

It is a place where I share my experience as a freelance filmmaker as well as gear-related content and BTS footage from my documentary and travel work.

Through Youtube I partner with numerous brands in the filmmaking industry, testing lenses, cameras and more.
