Co-Directed and shot with Thomas Teissier.
This is a short documentary about our good friend Sam and his relationship with surfing.
Jes (Sam’s partner) and I always had the idea to do a video on Sam and his love of surfing. A few months ago we visited them for the weekend and I followed Sam around for a couple of days.
This was my first time shooting surf as a subject and I loved it. Super happy with the visuals I got to capture and it was awesome to learn a bit more about someone we have known for 10 years.

Here is Here is a short doco shot with the Contax Zeiss lenses on the BMPCC 6K.
We had fun shooting this one and we felt privileged to capture and witness the behind the scenes of Alischa’s beautiful creations.
It was great to be able to use the Contax set and perfect for this kind of shoot since we had control over the place and shot in one main location but also challenging being vintage glass.
Alischa was so good in front of the camera and the store is probably one of the prettiest we’ve ever visited (and not to mention the coffee, which was also excellent!).
Contax Zeiss lenses used : 18mm f4, 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 2.8. All MM.
Shot with natural and practical light in one day. UHD Prores 422.

Our friend Jes is a talented photographer who happens to be a beekeeper on her spare time.
She asked us if we wanted to come and film her bees. We then decided to turn this into a little doco.
-
This is our first mini doco shot on the bmpcc 6k.
Most of it was shot handheld except for the macro shots and the interview.
I used 2 batteries for the shoot and the interview was done with the power cable. The whole thing took around 3hrs from start to finish. Only natural light.
Shot in UHD Prores.
Edited in Final Cut Pro X and Graded with FilmConvert.

Since I am stuck in quarantine in a hotel room I thought I’d made a short video shooting only from my window. Inspired by Rear Window (1954).

After 28 years working as a Mountain Rescue, my Father retired.
This is a short documentary about his career, his experiences and about a job of which the details are not well known to many.
I have, myself, learned a lot during the two days while making this portrait. The joys of having a job that was more a passion than work, the strong bonds made over the years, but also the risks and the emotional impact of some of the missions.
So, here is a short and condensed piece about a career that is, to me, extraordinary; of a humble and courageous man that I call my Dad.
—

A short documentary film about my grandfather and his passion for cycling.
I made this as a gift for his 80th birthday (or his ‘4th 20th birthday’, as he likes to say).
Un court documentaire sur mon grand-père et sa passion du vélo.
J’ai realisé ce film en tant que cadeau pour son 80ème anniversaire (ou son ‘4ème 20èm’e comme il se plait à dire).
